www.facebook.com/louisejarvisartTraditional glazed ceramics are clay ceramics with realistic colouring to match your animal. I can add colour patterns or markings to the fired pieces and get a close representation of your beloved pet. They are quirky pieces designed to capture the character of the subjects. They are sometimes a little exaggerated to pull out breed characteristics or individual subject's character. They are often humorous and fun. For very detailed work I would advise a portrait in pen and watercolour or pastel instead, for something fun and quirky and a bit different I would advise a sculptural piece. People have different tastes and I hope over the vast range of work and styles I offer there is something that suits your own personal taste and style.
